OK, time for the first upgrade! Why not modify one of my kits and put it in my car. Basically I used on of my 1996 to 2004 Mustang kits without flasher ($110) and one of my 1968 Shelby Electronic Flashers ($30) and I purchased a set of Scott Drake 1967-8 Tail lamp 3-Bulb inserts "C7ZZ-STL-13400" for $39.95. So I have a little over $180. You can buy the Scott Drake 67-8 SEQUENTIAL TAIL LIGHT KIT "C7ZZ-STL" for $169.95 and save money but everybody has Sequential and I want to be different. Oh yeah, I make the Sequential / Chase kits for later model Mustangs so I can't have another's kit on my car right! Besides "Chase" is what it's all about!

OK, nothing special here! Some pictures showing one taillight out and what it looks like.

I sandblasted both lamp housings before painting them.

Below are the Scott Drake 3-bulb inserts. VERY good quality! The shipping box was excellent, no shipping damage. They include new light bulbs too. The only thing I think that would make them better would be the addition of a ground wire. Bad Grounds cause so many problems on old cars. After repairing a taillight ground on my brothers 1968 Shelby the light intensity was twice that of what is was. The lights are to dim already on these old cars, they need a good ground. Can't say that enough.

This is the Ground wire (Black) I soldered to the back side of the three 3-bulb inserts. Great another wire!!!!!

I painted the inside of the lamp housing with chrome paint and the out side with Gold paint just to be different. This picture shows the inserts in the lamp housing and with the new gasket that was included in the Scott Drake 1967-8 Tail lamp 3-Bulb inserts "C7ZZ-STL-13400". Thanks Scott Drake for making these because now I don't have to. You the man!!!

If you can see it, the inserts are held in by the Left and Right side screws that secure the lens. The new gasket helps seals the change in surface height.
